- Leading the entire finance function for the parts division of Cummins India- Ensuring integrity of financial information and systems of the organization - Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial planning and analysis, financial accounting, statutory reporting, consolidation of subsidiaries, management and business metrics reporting, treasury and all general accounting functions- Indirect Tax compliance, review of Show cause notices and replies- Setting up new processes and ensuring adequate controls are in place- Forecasting, Annual operating Plans, Simulation for the next five years- Ensuring Capex is spent correctly and in a timely manner - Business case preparation for investments / expansion- SOx compliance within the function and ensure Zero failures

Leads the entire costing, pricing and inventory management processes for Industrial Engine Business Unit of the organization. Job responsibilities similar to a Plant Controller – This includes Margin analysis, Segmental profits etc.Acts as a second line to the finance controller. Supervises a team of a team of professionals and manages all accounting, costing and pricing functions.Identifies areas for Automation and leads the cross functional team to achieve the desired results.Finance approver for all Material price fixation and revisions. Business case preparation for new plants.IT Finance manager the BU finance.SOx compliance within the function and ensure Zero failures.Cost Audit and Annual filings with ROC.Margin analysis and reporting – Coordination with Tax Team during Transfer price fixation. Brings improvement in inventory management, scrap generation and managed expenses.

Commenced career as a Manager – Finance in the Finance & Corporate Affairs, led a team of two, reported to the CFO, gained exposure in various activities starting with Capex Management, and then moving to MIS and presently handling costing and budgeting. The job functionalities include: Preparation of Monthly MIS & Analysis of Variances as against the Budget and also Annual Budget & Mid-term Review of the original Budget with variance analysis of the actual performance with respect to original budget Preparation of Financial Statements of the Company in compliance with the Indian GAAP Accounting Standards and other statutory audit requirements.

Commenced career as a Management Trainee handling Capex payments and progressed to manage MIS and reporting under IFRS reporting directly to VP Finance.
