I am a proud, born-n-raised Florida girl. I grew up in Orlando and attended Stetson University in Deland, Fl. I completed a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance (double major) and went on to get my Master’s in Accounting. During my collegiate experience I worked at a boutique hotel an Assistant Manager and Innkeeper as well as Graduate Assistant at SU Career Services. I was the president of my pledge class and now a proud Delta Delta Delta alumni. As many would say, college was one of the best times of my life! I hit the ground running after graduation, searching for my first career move. After swearing up and down that I would not be a number in a cube at the Big 4 I immediately took a position with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Who denies the big 4 really?! I absolutely loved the people I met through the firm, appreciated the doors it opened for me, and gain greater exposure to the accounting industry than sitting in a class ever taught me. I found my way to Vaco through a peer referral; searching for new and different opportunities within the industry where I could utilize my public experience. As I got to know the members of Vaco, the connection turned into a recruiting opportunity. I found a place that would utilize my competitive side and social butterfly tendencies as well my background and knowledge in accounting. After surviving my second, full-blown, busy season I was ready to take the plunge and join the world of recruiting.
