About Khawaja Wajih
My chief goal in life is to champion the cause of law and justice in the life of the common man. I have dedicated the past three decades to the furtherance of this cause in the capacity of a judicial officer. While I initially planned to commence my career as a lawyer, exemplary guidance directed me to a career in the judiciary instead. Consequently, this decision has reaped immeasurable benefits. The fact that my decisions directly impact the lives of the persons they concern has greatly contributed to the cultivation of attributes characteristic of an effective judicial officer. These include a zeal for the truth, intense and unwavering concentration, comprehensive understanding of provincial and federal statutes, critical analysis of facts, meticulous attention to detail, efficiency in use of court resources, and prudence in the delivery of justice. What has served me most throughout my career is my resolute commitment to practicing "Audi Alteram Partem" (Listen to the other side). Its practice has not only prevented my innate biases from holding undue sway in my decision making process but has also catalyzed the temperance that ensures the transparent and impartial delivery of justice to litigants.I believe the efficacy of the court is a reflection of the efficacy of its administrators. Thus, I have strongly advocated institutional integrity and accountability since the commencement of my career. I have lead by example on this front by striving to maintain an impeccable reputation because that is what ultimately characterizes one in any field of endeavor. I also take keen interest in automating redundant court procedures to ensure the improvement of court disposal rate without compromising basic principles of justice and service delivery. Kindly contact me at kwajihuddin@hotmail.com. I greatly look forward to being of service in my humble capacity to any and all who share my values and who believe that the cause of justice is one worth championing.
