With a career spanning over 10 years, there isn't much of this country I haven't visited - for either professional or personal objectives. I have been involved in various exploration projects in many different and diverse jurisdictions. These projects have ranged from grass roots exploration for diamonds in Ontario, to major advanced drilling and resource definition projects for both diamonds in Saskatchewan, and gold in Ontario. I even have the distinction of being able to say that I worked on a project in the Canadian Arctic - send me an email if you want to learn more!I will admit I am a self described technology nut. I have built my own high powered desktop computer, as well as two other lower spec computers for family members. I also maintain not only my own, but the others via remote access through TeamViewer. With that knowledge,I am able to adapt to new devices or software quickly and can figure most things out on my own or with minimal guidance. On a professional level, I have experience with multiple downhole logging programs and geologic modelling and GIS software. I am also fairly mechanically inclined and can operate many on and off road vehiclesIn 2015 I decided to return to school and completed Post-Graduate GIS certificate course through Fanshawe College where I gained new insight into the world of GIS. Through this new found knowledge I am also keen on perhaps bringing new and existing skills as well as real world job experience to the GIS world. 2017 brought a new opportunity to broaden my experience and knowledge. In January, I accepted a position as a QA and Testing Analyst with a small but successful software development company where I live. So far is has been an amazing challenge and I am looking forward to seeing what the future has to offer in this new role.
