I am a Curry College graduate, and majored in Psychology with a minor in English. While in college, I had the opportunity to work as a Peer Tutor in the Writing Center at Curry, as well as a PAL Peer Mentor on campus, for which I took over as one of the Lead Mentors starting In August 2020. These jobs have allowed me to develop the interpersonal communication skills that are necessary to effectively work with others. My position as a Tutor, in conjunction with my courses, has driven me to further expand my research skills; while my work as a Mentor has taught me how to effectively communicate and collaborate with others. I also have worked as an art intern at the Charles River Center, working with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, and have worked as an intern with teenagers experiencing social difficulties. Both of these positions have allowed me to expand upon the skills that I will use as a future clinician and further my communication and problem solving skills. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing poetry, in addition to other forms of creative writing.
