As Policy Director, I served as DGA point-person on intergovernmental affairs with leadership in Congress and the White House, responsible for legislative and regulatory tracking and analysis. During an 8-week primary campaign, I developed a budget and managed expenditures of $110,000 and brought the campaign from 12% down in initial polling, to within 48 votes (1.3%) of victory.

As the campaign's representative in the Northern Virginia region, I cultivated relationships among local party committee chairs and activists to build support for the primary campaign, including managing a petition drive, overseeing 50 volunteers in 5 counties and collecting 5,000 signatures.

I consulted clients on message development and managed the creation of mail pieces for candidates, unions, and advocacy groups.

• Created and supervised field program for two top targeted state legislative races spanning a total of 43 precincts and 140,000 registered voters.
