Built up the engineering team for the R&D department in Singapore to release enterprise printing solution for secure printing. Over my stint there, I built up the delivery capability of embedded appliance, web admin console to release SecureJet for worldwide release.

I led team of 7 developers as well as a remote team in India in delivering software projects for the HP printer division using Agile/Scrum methodology. In my 9 years with HP, I've completed more than 10 SDLC projects in multiple roles as hands-on developer / technical lead / program manager. I acted as collaborated with cross-functional teams across US, China and India to ensure the successful implementation, integration and release of projects into market through defining strategic, actionable roadmaps to support the new initiatives. I was posted to San Diego for a year as a technical software liaison to HP software labs in San Diego, Boise and Singapore. In doing so, I managed and sped up migration process in development, transfer of assets and implementation of agile methodology across both labs.

I developed biometric software solutions for automated immigration projects worth US$6 million, including the ePassport project in Bangkok airport, CPF Autolobby system, Macau Auto-immigration system and the Dubai ePassport system. I was posted to Tokyo by EDB to train in biometric technologies and subsequently became the subject matter expert on fingerprint and facial recognition. I also utilized the object oriented methodology to develop common facial matching module based on the API of different facial matching vendors and fine-tuned the accuracy and performance of the biometric systems by analyzing data captured under different project environments.
