In my role of HR Generalist, I supported the organization's recruitment process, making sure that it reflected WTA's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative. Also, I collaborated with directors to develop a recruitment strategy to find candidates that have lived experiences that can bring forward new perspectives to WTA's work. The Strategic Advisor and I worked on developing the new handbook for the organization. On the topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, I worked on developing a DEI onboarding process for all-staff.
