My role involves researching cutting-edge media technologies, developing content strategies, and enhancing Reign’s digital assets to ensure we meet the ever-evolving needs of our clients and partners. Review book manuscripts for Small World Series, provide feedback to the contributors, and negotiate business deals between authors and brand managers, ministry of tourism, or governments. I work to protect the author's interests and discuss goals and plans when first meeting new clients. Devote time to cultivating relationships for brand sponsorships so that the contributors and future business can establish partnerships.

•Lead a team of three culturally diverse library specialists across two campuses.•Lead the Library staff in promoting, developing and delivering quality services that enhance and support the teaching and learning objectives of students, faculty and staff. •Managed the Library’s strategic planning process, Library services, annual budgeting, formulate and maintain Library policies and procedures. •Liaison Librarian for two department programs – Computer Information Science (CIS) and Applied Media for HCT 16 campus libraries system wide. Ensure the effective use of budget for collection development, offered outreach and research support, educated and supported faculty on scholarly communications for open access and academic publishers.•Participated in professional development activities and maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and current and upcoming trends in the industry.•Played an active role in the conversion of 3 HCT campuses Library departments to being 100% Virtual Innovation Centers.•Assist Fabrication Specialists in the management of the Library’s Innovation Lab. •Assist with the coordination of all aspects of Innovation Lab programming; collaborates with other stakeholders, volunteers, and Library departments to develop, plan, implement and conduct programs that develop an entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on STEAM activities for teens, adults, and intergenerational audiences.•Acts as a liaison and collaborates with local maker individuals, organizations, school staff engaged in innovation and making and others involved in entrepreneurial activities to develop strong partnerships and support community needs. •Provides excellent public service as measured by standard benchmarks and helps patrons with technology inquiries and access to the Library’s digital collections. The Success Series is a collaboration between Student Affairs and the Library Department. As of SP2015, 50+ workshops were available to students to choose from in 15+ topic areas.•Act as the Faculty Liaison: Assist with team teaching, faculty collaboration, and interaction with students in an instructional setting.•Act as the lead in special projects for technology enhancement. Initiated and successfully submitted a proposal to enhance the Library mobile presence through a creation of a mobile app and Text-Chat application.•Initiated a YouTube series of Library video podcasts titled “Library Moment with Kway”.•Works closely on various committees as they relate to the functions and services of the library. Serve on the District Online Weeding Database Committee and the District Web Design Committee.•Lead grant writer and project coordinator for the Texas State Library Archive & Commissions mobile grant; created and implemented the Eastfield College Library mobile app to students, staff, faculty and administrators.•Project coordinator for Mayor Mike Rawlings 2013 Summer Reading Program; Coordinate the donation of 500+ children books from Eastfield College to the Summer Reading Program. •Stay current with best practices and trends in information literacy, reference, and diversity.
