About Kwee Tan
Hi there! I am a Master of Biomedical Engineering graduate who has finished my studies at the University of Melbourne. The incredible world of engineering and my fascination in the complexities of biological systems is what drives me to pursue the field of biomedical engineering. I have interned as an Analysis Engineer in MAXONIQ, a company passionate in developing and manufacturing personalised maxillofacial medical devices. There I conducted computational structural analysis on several of their implant models using industry-level Finite Element Analysis software. My volunteering experiences involves helping prepare large quantities of nutritious food for the disadvantaged in FareShare; a charity network that aims to reduce food poverty and food waste.I also have been volunteering for the Rotary Club of North Balwyn since 2016, by participating in fund-raising activities for international and community projects. These include catering for the 2018 and 2019 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, catering in Bunnings and holding raffles during Christmas festivals.
