Since 2001, we have been working with a wide range of partners and grantees south and southwest of downtown Atlanta, including the residents of Atlanta’s Neighborhood Planning Unit V and surrounding neighborhoods. Mission: To close the opportunity divide by providing urban young adults (18 - 24 year olds) with the skills, experience and support needed to empower them to reach their full potential in professional careers and higher education.

Oversaw and managed the volunteer and administrative process for distributing over $45 million a year in community funds to United Way funded agencies.

First Director of the Office of Community Service designed to instill in Morehouse students, faculty and staff a commitment to community service, to facilitate their service, and to manage various community service scholarship programs (Bonner Scholars, Adams Scholars, AmeriCorps, etc.).

Represented indigent clients in civil litigation and administrative hearings. Focus: housing, public benefits, and employment law. Managed office serving Dekalb & Gwinnett Counties.
