Ms. Ledbetter is inspired by designing, developing, and implementing projects that maximize organizational efficiency and serve the most vulnerable people in our society. With over 25 years of IT and project management experience, Mrs. Ledbetter is a consultant, business owner, adjunct faculty, and senior manager in the federal government specializing in practical project management and problem-solving strategies. Ms. Ledbetter delivered consulting services, IT solutions, and skill building experiences in the private sector, public sector, and academia. Her experience includes implementation of a nationwide IT Help Desk supporting over thirty thousand users, and ultimately the responsibility for management of three computer data centers supporting major Treasury functions including disbursement of Social Security payments and tax refund payments to the nation’s citizens. Ms. Ledbetter has affiliations with professional organizations such as PMI, Delta Sigma Theta and ISC2. Ms. Ledbetter has a master’s degree in Computer Systems Management from the University of Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in Math and English (double major) from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently a candidate for a doctorate in business administration. Additionally, Ms. Ledbetter has certificates in Agile Scrum (SMC), cybersecurity (CISSP), and project management (PMP). Ms. Ledbetter is married with two grown sons and a grandson.Accomplishments2022 - Won a contract to provide accreditation services to a local university, Nursing department.2019 - Established tutoring as a mainstay in my company, KTAAG. I have between 15 and 20 students weekly and I tutor in the areas of Project Management, Statistics, English, Spanish and Math. 2017 - I became an adjunct professor at Bowie State University and taught several graduate level courses in project management.2017 - Taught ITIL courses for the Hope Project.2016 - My company, KTAAG, assisted a local university in unconditional renewal of accreditation for its graduate nursing program.2015 - KTAAG wrote the proposal that won a $700,000 grant on behalf of the university.2013 - PMI Silver Spring Chapter (I was a major player on the Board and served as president for two years) received two prestigious awards this year for outreach, collaboration, and leadership. Membership increased by almost 25% under my leadership.
