Ballast is a multi faceted financial services organisation with Financial, Planning, Mortgage Aggregation, Legal, Property, Accounting and Mortgage Management divisions. My role held 3 main responsibilities 1) Generation of external lead sources, 2) Generation of leads between members of the group through cross sell of services and 3) Design, development and ongoing management of an online lead platform that receives leads from referrers and delivers leads to sales people allowing the lead to be tracked throughout the sales process and auto populating details into the commission system for payment of commissions to all parties. My role was to create win / win situations for all parties dealing with Ballast.

Pro-vide Home Loans is a fully owned subsidiary of MKM Capital, involved in the direct sale of MKM's products. The role involves strategic direction, product development, lead generation via online marketing strategies, distribution strategies, recruitment of a sales team and General Management duties.

Composing a feasability Study / Strategy for a new "Near Prime" Home Loan product.MKM Capital is a non bank lender specialising in lending solutions to the Non Conforming Home Loan Market.This position rolled into my next role as Gen Manager Pro-vide Home Loans.

During this period I undertook various short term consuting roles while taking some paternity leave and bonding with my youngest son.The most interesting project included the design of an Automated Cross Sell and Customer Fulfillment platform for an overseas provider, who has now entered the Australian Market.

Provided eChoice with a strategy to build a secondary distribution channel to make better use of leads, add to the bottom line and build value in the business. I subsequently headed up the channel and built it from scratch, recruiting approximately 40 brokers, building the support systems and lead distribution processes.

Overall responsibility for 3 Home Loan distribution channels including LJ Hooker Home Loans and First National Financial Solutions, consisting of 6 direct reports and 74 indirect reports.

Charged with creating an alliance to replicate the model used to sell home loan products through the LJ Hooker network. An agreement was negotiated with First National (then the 3rd largest National real estate group) to use the First National brand and create First National Financial Solutions.

Responsible for Home Loans sales from my states via 3rd party brokers and LJ Hooker Home Loans.

General Manager of a wholesale floor covering distribution business with sales of $13.5 million per annum and 43 staff.

Sales Manager with a team of 9 staff. Took sales from $6.5 million per annum to $13 million in a 3 year period.
