Responsible for the daily operation and management of the New River Valley, including managing airport staff, marketing, sales, budgeting, public relations and airfield safety. The Airport is the 7th longest in Virginia and is a US Customs Port of Entry. I have managed oversight and funding for a $5 million runway rehabilitation project, a $4 million taxiway extension project, organized a 3-day aviation event with the Goodyear Blimp, drafted new airport documents including an updated emergency plan, promoted the airport’s assets by organizing airport tours speaking to civic organizations and working with the local chamber of commerce, actively recruited new businesses to the airport, helped developed marketing materials, and reduced airport budget expenses by 15%.

Oversees economic development in Virginia's New River Valley. Works closely with Virginia's First Regional Industrial Facility Authority on the oversight and managment of the New River Valley Commerce Park. Responsible for coordinating and planning such as the developement of the New River Valley's Telecommunications Plan.

General aviation advocacy and policy oversight to include: airport rules and regulations; aviation law; aviation funding; state and federal aviation policy; direct lobbying of locals, state and federal lawmakers; general aviation security; transportation appropriations and authorization; and other aviation related issues.
