About Kristoffer Wickstead

I'm a creative and strategic minded Engineering Leader and Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise on a variety of NPI projects, Automated/Manual Production Methods for EVs as well as Product Sustaining Programs. I've also interfaced with multiple teams in low cost countries, led and mentored on a diverse variety of projects. My current role is manufacturing engineering efforts for the Tesla Semi Truck Battery. I have worked also on Plaid, Model 3 and Model Y vehicle battery Modules and battery packs at Tesla.At GE, I worked as an engineer and grew into an engineering manager and product manager role. When I left GE for Hamilton Company, I was responsible for sustaining legacy monitoring systems worth more than $300 million per year in sales. At Hamilton Company, I worked in clean room injection molding processes, both for sustaining and new product development. I provided updates to tip filtering, tip packaging and qualified machinery using the IQ, OQ, PQ Process. On my internship at Sandvik Special Metals, I was a design and test engineer responsible for processes used to build seamless Titanium and Zirconium tubing. I upgraded laboratory fixtures, evaluated a special custom process, and propose revised machinery.
