Senior Core Banking System Admin
CurrentMy primarily responsible for the support of the core banking system in use in terms of parameterization, fixes and core banking integrations as part of business as usual. The job holder ensures the core banking works perfectly and user expectations are met. To install and test core banking releases, profile end users, debug end of periods (Day, Month and Year). Develop and customize the Core Banking System to satisfy business needs.Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide a source of core banking expertise to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision-making and accessing data;• Controlling access permissions and privileges to the Core Banking and other bank’s applications;• Number of customization and fixes developed;• Working closely with other IT personnel to ensure that all banking software applications are running smoothly;• Provide training and advice as required to users on information systems to ensure that they make the best use of the core systems;• In collaboration with the database administrator, ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly;• Maintain core banking product parameterization;• Maintain bank’s tariff in the core banking;• Certify third party application connection to the core banking and other critical applications;• Perform data extraction and integration as per project needs;• Monitor and validate End/Start of periods;• Maintain application information confidentiality strictly;• Perform database and application monitoring for replication;• Ensure compliance to IT Policies and Procedures;• Participate in core banking auditing activities;• Work or assist on core banking system maters during late hours, holidays and weekend in response to needs of the systems being supported or in case of emergency;
