• My primarily responsible for the support of the core banking system in use in terms of parameterization, fixes and core banking integrations as part of business as usual. The job holder ensures the core banking works.
• Provide a source of core banking expertise to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision-making and accessing data;
• Controlling access permissions and privileges to the Core Banking and other bank’s applications;
• Number of customization and fixes developed;
• Working closely with other IT personnel to ensure that all banking software applications are running smoothly;
• Provide training and advice as required to users on information systems to ensure that they make the best use of the core systems;

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan the conceptual design for applications and databases, and contribute in the definition of software requirement specification
• Design and implement new features for different applications, and across different sub-systems of the core banking system based on the business needs
• Ensure high availability and performance of the bank’s applications, especially of the core banking system, by monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users
• Assist with planning, testing, and implementation of software upgrades, as required to remain up-to-date and attain “best functionality“ for the bank
• Participate in plans for scaling and enhancing new and existing application and database systems and document proposed solutions

• Responsible for the day to day IT requirements at Lycée de Kicukiro (APADE) such as user management, trouble shooting, help and advice. Maintaining desktop applications, local area networks, IT security.
• Strengthening the IT infrastructure through to implementing new technologies.
• Responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance and repair.
• Performing routine audits of systems and software.
• Manage the IT budgets and expenditure on hardware and software.
• Developing & maintaining the company IT systems, software and databases.
