Oversee the protection of youth and vulnerable adults through compliance of all staff and volunteers to the Diocesan safe environment procedures. Maintain parish safe environment database and regularly collaborate with the Pastor, Pastoral Associate, staff, parish organizations and volunteers.• Communicate safe environment expectations and process for all staff and volunteers.• First point of contact for the processing of volunteer safe environment applications and interviews.• Notifies ministry supervisors of existing volunteer training certification and re-certification needs. • Routinely monitors and updates Safe Environment database records; including criminal background checks, code of conduct compliance, and required training.• Maintains confidentiality of applicants’ criminal background, driver, and credit check status.• Supports the parish’s compliance effort for the annual audit of the Safe Environment Program.• Attends Diocesan meetings on Safe Environment programs/issues on behalf of the Parish.

Worked as the Lead Citrix Engineer, Senior Technical Manager and Project Manager. Led and worked with engineers who design, deploy, and support various systems. Interface directly with clients and vendors on business needs, and projects, gathering feedback, resolving issues, and providing a technical face and voice for the company and teams.• Reviewed and completed proposal for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops refresh for client from vetted vendors for a new greenfield environment which included application packaging. This included alternatives approaches which led the client to choose Azure WVD in a scaled down, but effective environment saving costs for hardware, licensing, and hardware.• Successfully completed two large data center exits leading the project teams which included various divisions, clients, and vendors. Systems were moved to the Azure and AWS clouds or new data centers. Worked with Vendors to securely dispose unneeded equipment. Saving costs for data center ownership and leasing, reusing viable equipment and consolidating into lower cost environments.• Onboarded a new client with multiple locations in Mexico and the US, multiple domains and cloud tenants, aging and new hardware. With systems inside and outside of data centers and multiple single points of failure, worked with teams to onboard a very complex environment. Saving the client costs from current vendor and securing a multimillion dollar contract for the company.• Worked with teams daily on technical issues as the on-call technical manager and lead Citrix engineer. With full admin access, provided direct assistance to teams on Azure, Citrix, Wintel & VMware deployments and provided indirect assistance to the LINUX and SQL teams, leveraging my 27+ years of experience to overcome issues, sharpen the team and provide a more positive experience for clients and making the company referenceable.

Managed research, development, architecture, and deployment of Citrix Product line to support Fujitsu and their client environments. NetScaler environments host GSLB, Load Balancing, and NetScaler Gateway on SDX, MPX and VPX platforms. XenApp environments host standard off-the-shelf and custom line of business applications. Several environments are completely virtualized utilizing Citrix XenApp, XenServer, and Provisioning Services.• Replaced Cisco ACE, GSS, and CSS devices for major clients with NetScaler SDX platforms in multiple data centers for internal and external access. Worked with Citrix Professional Services for High-Level Design and created the Low-Level Design. The solution utilized multiple VLANs and Traffic Domains bound to specific LACP channels to isolate traffic and minimize the devices required, while still maintaining security boundaries. Used extensive Responder, Rewrite and Conditional Forwarders. Configured VPX units to utilize appropriate number of processors, memory and SSL Chips based on content passing into environment.• Managed multi-datacenter Netscaler and Virtual Apps and Desktop environment to provide access to engineers to various environments. Utilized GSLB to allow closest point of entry for different datacenters and engineer location. Provided access for VPN and Virtual Apps and Desktops using MFA. Utilized Responder and Rewrite properties to enhance security. Managed applications and desktops in environment, using standard COTS software as well as custom applications.• Technical Architect providing analysis, recommendations, High- and Low-Level Designs, and oversight for new and potential clients and for upgrading existing clients and internal infrastructure.• Trained and coached employees for team. • Received thank you letters from the client’s CIO and project managers for bringing a stalled project back on track and driving complex XenApp and XenServer project to completion and full operational status.
