My role is to help manage new Business Line Development from an HR standpoint, HR Legal Compliance, Policy Development, Employee Relations & Risk Management, and Employee Health and Retirement Benefits functions while also overseeing the Onboarding function and HRIS & Payroll functions.

I provided Generalist HR duties for this non-profit community clinic of almost 400 employees, serving the under-insured and un-insured of San Diego and Riverside Counties. My responsibilities included Staffing/Recruiting & Onboarding of medical and administrative staff, HRIS and Payroll interface coordination, Benefits & Leaves Administration, Worker's Comp Administration, Safety and general staff Compliance Training, and medical staff credentialing coordination.

I wore many hats during my tenure at this small Entrepreneurial-focused Company specializing in microelectronics development under government contracts with NASA, the Navy, the Air Force, the National Institutes of Health, et. al. I coordinated government proposals & Contracts Administration, along with managing the HR function & coordination with our Benefits insurance carriers and Payroll vendor. I researched and coordinated Safety Training & Compliance. I was also responsible for general facilities management, and I assisted with some accounting functions.

Supported the Human Resources Manager with Generalist HR duties for this mid-sized semi-conductor equipment developer and manufacturer. During the last 6 months at this firm, I provided administrative support to the Executive Team in the Oceanside office. I learned a lot about how leadership character and style affect the direction of an enterprise.
