I am currently working as a Global IT Team Leader for the ERP & Enterprise Software Team. Together with my team our responsibilities span both maintaining the company’s operations (run) and driving improvements (change) in ERP and other applications worldwide.My biggest accomplishments within this role are:• Setting up and managing an energetic and international team of 9 functional and technical application managers.• Prepared and on-boarded colleagues to take over my role in the Global Process & ERP program and further coach them.• Designed and implemented new change, realization and DTAP processes while transitioning to a more agile team.

As an IT Consultant in Huisman China I worked on coordinating the implementation of a new global ERP system (Isah) across multiple locations of Huisman. My role and daily work at the time is best compared to that of a project manager and IT-business analyst combined.My biggest accomplishment during this time was bringing the Chinese and Dutch office closer together by taking up a neutral role and intensify the cooperation in a structured way. As a result decision speed and mutual understanding improved leading to various successful implementations of new software and processes.

As a Young Professional within QNH Consulting I was part of the business unit Cloud and Automation where I worked on various projects:• For Vodafone I developed  an automated Linux IaaS platform together with some other colleagues utilizing Puppet, Azure and ELK stack.• At NXP Semiconductors I joined a running project as both a Scrum Master as well as DevOps engineer. We introduced Docker and Rancher for implementing Jira, as well as a new CI/CD pipeline for in-house build software. Furthermore we worked on an orchestration platform to enable standardized server deployment and maintenance.• At ASML I worked as a Scrum Master for a project team working on a platform to virtualize ASML equipment for testing purposes. During my time as Scrum Master I wrapped up the first phase of the project and handed over systems towards operation teams. We were the first team working with Scrum from our department.• For Zuyd University of Applied Sciences I developed and thought a minor on Orchestration and Containerization.

During my final internship I researched the added value of operating-system-level virtualization (e.g. Docker) compared to conventional virtualization technologies (e.g. full virtualization) within an environment where the DevOps way of working is practiced at QNH Consulting. In order to realize the objective of this project, a (literature) study has been carried out. Based on this study a research and advisory report has been written. Finally, a PoC environment has been designed and build.

A small list of examples I helped our customers with:• Slow computers;• Problems with internet and e-mail;• Resolving errors;• Installing and configuring soft- and hardware;• Removal of viruses/malware;• Computer lessons.

I worked as an intern fulfilling the role as a network- and system administrator at Check-IT which is located in China (Xiamen). During this internship I have researched different version control systems. Besides my research I worked together with a couple of Chinese software engineers to setup a webserver including a MySQL database. This server was used to develop a mobile application using the QT framework. I worked together with the software engineers using Scrum. Finally I was also responsible for administrating the following environments within the company:• Active Directory;• Jira;• GitLab;• Hyper-V (incl. VM’s);• Webservers;• Hardware (NAS, network printers, computers and servers).I got a 7.9 for my internship.
