I worked with the professional staff of the Robert Russa Moton Museum and National Park Service to plan the Brown 5 Symposium. As a Brown v. Board of Education, National Historic Landmark, The Moton Museum is inviting the four other sites represented in the US Supreme Court case of Brown v. Board of Education (Delaware, Kansas, South Carolina, and Washington D.C.) to visit Farmville/Moton Museum. This is a three day long event happening in July. I personally will be handling various details of this event such as guest speakers, venues/catering for multiple meals, activities (civil rights bus/walking tour, movie showings, etc.), graphic designs (programs and welcome packets), outreach to local businesses, and travel accommodations for our visitors, etc.
