This position involved developing Dive Ontario’s Marketing & Communications Plan for 2021-2022 and implementing Dive Ontario’s 2020-2021 Marketing & Communications Strategy. For graphic design, content creation, and copywriting, I used Canva, iMovie, and WordPress. Daily responsibilities included managing Dive Ontario’s social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Website, etc.), writing and posting news articles on the website, collecting and interpreting social media analytics, and coordinating and collaborating with the board of directors, committees, clubs, and athletes.

This position involved greeting customers and visitors as they entered and running birthday parties for children. I was responsible for ordering and serving pizza to the children, serving juice and water, cutting and serving cake, helping the parents with any additional setup for the party, and supervising the children on the playgrounds. Party turnover was quick, so I would clean up the space immediately after each party and set it up for the next guests. Some administrative aspects of the role included booking party appointments in person or by phone, answering any questions parents or children may have, giving tours of the party rooms, writing invoices, and collecting and processing payments.
