* Analyze reports, calculations, drawings, and blueprints to plan and design projects for structural requirements.* Prepare/modify reports and specifications to ensure conformance to engineering plans and construction.* Prepare stress analysis to design structure to meet estimated load requirements by computing sizes, shape and type of structure.* Do seismic and wind analysis for every element of structure designed.* Inspect projects under construction and recommend repair and/or replacement of defective areas.
Apply building codes to the plans/designs.
Use computers and design software to prepare engineering and design documents.

• Perform and coordinate inspections and determine quality assurance testing models of raw materials and finished products.• Prepare, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports. • Responsible for QA/QC documents of multiple projects including certificates, calibrations, test results and inspection requests.• Review and approve quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance.• Develop, document, and audit practices, program quality, and metrics reporting system.
