Gameplan is an EdTech learning management software that teaches soft skills through gaming and esports. I was responsible for onboarding all new clients, managed a portfolio of 400+ academic partners, and conducted monthly feedback sessions and focus groups. Worked closely with our CTO and development team to report platform bugs and provide solutions and to provide clients with scheduled platform updates and new feature rollouts.

Oversaw all digital and conference content. Worked with content team to develop and roll out new initiatives to share various stories, videos and articles to attract new audience demographic. Also oversaw the ideation and creation of conference sessions and trainings.

In May 2018, XLIVE was acquired by Informa. I oversee all programming and educational content at all XLIVE properties. I also work internally with other Informa properties, advising them on how to add esports content to their already existing programs. Through this new position, I also travel to and present at various conferences on both the esports and live event ecosystems; including but not limited to National Sports Forum, Game Developers Conference, ConnecTech, Middle East Games Con and USC Games Expo.

Don't let the title fool you, I have done just about everything there is to do with running the convention, from working with agencies to bring in talent to securing sponsors for the convention to working on the website to checking people in a the door. One of my main responsibilities is coordinating and overseeing the 100+ tournaments, both tabletop and video games, through my various tournament organizers. I am also in charge of producing the live stage and streams associated with the tournament play, interviews and tournament finals. Salt Lake Gaming Con is an annual gaming convention held in Salt Lake City, Utah. In our 2017 show we welcomed 35,000+ guest and gamers. Salt Lake Gaming Con is a perfect collaboration of tabletop games, card games, and video games alike. Including vendors, industry guests, panels and special guest celebrities ranging from video game voice actors, such as Steve Blum and Jennifer Hale, to professional gamers and streamers, such as Scarra and Shipthur. Salt Lake Gaming Con is 50% owned by Salt Lake Comic Con. One of the world’s premier comic con events.

Thinkbox started out as a full service creative agency, helping small to medium sized companies further develop their brand and voice. It has recently pivoted to a content creation and consulting agency for esports organizations and businesses interested in getting involved with esports.

My initial goal in founding the UVU Esports organization was to create a place on campus for gamers, of all walks of life, to congregate and play games in a safe and positive environment. I have grown the organization from a small recreational club to a robust university recognized intramural athletics program. We have put together LAN parties, viewing events, highly competitive tournaments and other get-togethers for our 500+ members, being the largest student ran organization on campus. We have 8 competitive varsity teams that compete, in there various titles, with other colleges across the nation in hopes to win tuition scholarships.

Responsible for planning and carrying out monthly online tournament leagues for the Hearthstone community of Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. I was the main caster and welcomed a new guest each week to cast tournament matches twice a week.

One of my main objectives in being hired was to create and execute a marketing plan that targeted the Millennial generation. I created, oversaw and implemented new campaigns that saw an increase of 300% in loan applications, Credit Union wide. I was responsible for creating print and digital media for all branch locations. I managed all of DFCU social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest. I led our team in creating business spotlight videos for Deseret First Business Members. I was also responsible for planning our annual Utah Duel golf tournament, held for our sponsors of the Utah Duel Cup. In conjunction to the golf tournament, I was tasked to redesign the Duel logo in commemoration of its 15th anniversary.

I worked under the direction of the Creative Director to create and design infographics and other accelerators for the various clients of Fusion 360.

As Assistant Marketing Director I was mainly involved with creating content to be used in email campaigns, social media outreach, brand promotion on website, and print media handed out at various cycling and outdoor events. As well as overseeing and maintaining relationships with our brands and vendors. I spearheaded our venture into the video space by creating customer support videos to commonly asked questions, lifestyle videos and a weekly segment called #AskJarv, where our local mechanic/expert answered questions about bike repairs and basic bicycle know how. I also aided in planning our involvement with community outreach events such as the Tour of Utah, Bikewagon Annual Garage Sale and Demo rides with our vendors.

Makin' Music Productions is an entertainment company that serves the Greater Chicagoland Area, specializing in live productions, black-tie corporate events and upscale weddings. I was responsible for working with clients on planning their event from start to finish.
