I'm 32 years old and have decided to change my life by pursuing something I never realized about myself...I'm freaking love coding. In all honesty, it's not limited to these fields. I have a deep desire to learn the underpinning foundation of computer science and encryption theories that support the devices and technologies we use everyday. I've made a vow to myself; to learn everything I possibly can. This genuinely brings joy to my life. In high school, I got suspended for writing mini-programs to do my calculus work for me on my Ti-83 calculator. This should have been the moment I realized....this might be something I'm good at. Having said this, where I grew up, there wasn't much (if any) indicators or roadmaps that could have jump started me into this industry of which I believe I'm truly compatible. The more I learn, the more I'm realizing that my mentality and with my ability to learn are an almost perfect match for computer science and all it's subsets. This realization at this point in my life has culminated the following life statement:"I don't care to have books written about me nor do I care to adorn myself with awards, but I do care to help change our socioeconomic health and educational approach. It's a plateful but you don't choose what your passionate about, you just are. Attaining greatness isn't the goal; the goal is realizing my own greatness."
