Main Responsibilities:• Manage the day to day running of all my categories (Biscuits, Savouries, Bakery, Bread & ISB).• Hold weekly meetings with the M&S, LSP and Design teams to discuss project status, concerns with regards to volumes and any issues or delays with projects.• Maintain good relationships with key suppliers in each category – ensuring we are working efficiently with them to achieve launch deadlines.• Offer assistance to any new suppliers to help them grasp the client process i.e. hosting supplier training days.• Oversee high profile projects and corporate redesigns.• Work with design to identify any ranges which could be developed using the ‘hero’ process to save cost.• Create & manage critical paths according to M&S’s launch schedule and knowledge of print lead times.• Manage the approval of pack copies via the client system, including Legal.• Manage the approval of design, photography, artwork and repro to ensure the design seal date is met.• Ensure all ranges are travel tested and comply to protocol.• Arrange and attend design development and pre-production meetings with suppliers, printers, M&S and the pre-production technician.• Manage the handover of approved design files from design studio ensuring correct cutters are supplied at the beginning of projects.• Work with the brand guardian & production manager to ensure range reviews are carried out on all new designs.• Arrange and chair artwork sign off meetings.• Manage the artwork approval process.• Liaise with all suppliers & printers to ensure printed samples are submitted after press runs for approval.Reports & Forecasting:• Provide a weekly volume forecast to the studio for all work in progress.• Provide reports on client historical spend data as required.• Ensure accurate records are kept of recyclable packaging in each category.• Ensure all FO numbers are received and logged from and all invoicing is kept up to date.
