Distribution Operations Manager
CurrentProvides training to assigned staff in areas of dock operations, material handling, receiving, ticketing, letdown/put away of goods, distribution, and inventory control. Including assigning duties and supervises staff to realize unit goals in all areas of the distribution center processes as directed by Management.Provide support to staff and feedback relative to daily performance of duties and recommends further training and or disciplinary action as necessary.Collects daily paperwork for verification of receipts. Makes sure paperwork is complete and accurate.Assures safe and timely movement of goods between the Distribution Center and retail locations through scheduling of timely truck deliveries via the Museum Shop Truck Driver.Insures the reporting of damaged goods and inventory count discrepancies to Management.Assists in Ecommerce, Mail order or Retail Distribution operations as assigned by Management
