About Kylar Rode
I started in the oil patch in 2011 at the young age of 18. I worked on service rigs around Estevan, Saskatchewan for 2 years before realizing my passion for Down hole Tools. I then left my career on the service rigs to pursue a career in down hole tools in 2013. I worked extensively in down hole tools with 2 different companies until 2016 where I left the Oil Patch due to the slowing market. I graduated from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology April 2018 completing my Petroleum Engineering Technologist diploma. I am currently in my final semester of my senior year at the University of Wyoming and will graduate in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum EngineeringI have had an extended working relationship with Import Tool Corporation Ltd. as a field technician out of the Estevan, Saskatchewan base of operations for the better part of 3 years. As well as working with the sales team out of the office in Calgary, Alberta for three summer long internships. As an Engineering Technician I have supplied countless clients with torque and drag data, packer setting analysis data and centralization solutions for nearly thousands of wells in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
