I’ve been working since I was 14. One of the main areas I have a lot of experience in is customer service. All my jobs required contact with the public.Since the age of 14 and up til graduation I worked fast food. Before graduating and for years after graduating high school I spent my time with a friend, mentor, a brother from my church who was an experienced electrician for 30 years, who walked us (a group of teens) through residential, commercial and industrial electrical jobs. Giving me an accumulated 10 years of hands on electrical experience. After graduating I worked installing surround sound for about a year for a Bose distributor. After the surround sound was installed the technicians were required to walk customers through a demonstration of the Bose experience. From there I worked counter sales and warehouse at an electrical supply store for about 2 years. Where I also did inventory, packing and unpacking cargo. Learned how to drive a forklift at this job as well.I left that job looking for money and a shorter commute and ended up at my old apartment complex where for a couple years I worked as a maintenance tech / porter. Doing apartment turn overs and emergency service calls.I moved to Arizona where I worked for 1/2 a year in an electrical company’s warehouse packing orders for the contractors who worked on electrical sites. Then the other half of the year I actually worked in the field as an electricians helper. I would leave this job for better pay.Then I started cleaning carpets where I would have to sell additional services. I performed carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning. The company I worked for could not provide consistent work so I moved into cleaning pools, which is the industry I’m currently in now. I have 6 years of pool cleaning experience, I’m a certified pool and spa operator.My main interest now is to get into a job I can see myself doing for the rest of my life. I set my sights on being a life and a personal development coach. Which I now have the certifications for. I’ve been developing skills such as graphic design and video editing. I’ve developed episodes of a self produced podcast named Excavate and elevate where I encourage people to dig deep within themselves and aim up at a better life and a better set of circumstances. So yea that’s me.
