Kyle Abrams has over 18 years of progressive clinical and management experience in sterile processing, perioperative support services, and consulting. He is a proven leader with demonstrated organizational skills and ability to successfully direct multi-disciplinary teams and analyze and implement process improvement. He has collaborated in consulting with healthcare experts in North America, Central/South America, and Asia. Having worked his way up the sterile processing ladder, performing all roles from technician to director, Kyle has uniquely served patients and Customers from the east coast to the west coast, north and south, from hospitals serving 400+ surgical patients/day to rural eye clinics and ASCs. As a presenter to audiences at both OR and SPD national conferences, Kyle has taken the opportunity to develop materials that introduce, educate, engage, and inspire sterile processing technicians and leaders, OR techs and nurses, and other team members in the perioperative space. His insights revealed in the published article, “Measuring Up”, explore the need for measuring and managing all processes in the sterile processing environment to work towards continuous improvement. In recent years, Kyle has taken advantage of the trend in exploring offsite reprocessing and helped develop customer interest and feasibility of considering offsite solutions. He also leads the clinical efforts of the Mobile Solutions team, providing volume, staffing and workflow solutions for Customers requiring onsite renovations and relocations.
