• Provided 10+ global automotive and manufacturing clients assistance with the management and execution of their Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audit programs over 13+ years. Brought innovative ideas to Internal Audit departments including the use of analytics. Performed project management responsibilities, risk assessments, aligned stakeholders and garnered buy in, developed approaches and audit plans, identified objectives and key control activities, designed templates, reporting tools and testing methodologies, and coordinated global audit execution.• Led a 6-year project assisting a global automotive OEM in executing a dealership compliance audit program across the U.S. Created tools to efficiently deliver audits, which included components for scheduling, audit execution, automated reporting, and executive dashboards using SharePoint and Tableau platforms. Built risk-based inspection programs focused on sales incentives (retail sales, fleet sales, employee sales, certified pre-owned, courtesy vehicle program, tier 3 marketing, etc.). Managed a team of 8-10 professionals with the execution of 100+ dealership audits annually. Performed PMO responsibilities including: stakeholder alignment, financial oversight, communications management, scheduling, auditor quality control, KPI tracking and analysis, status meetings, etc. Identified program non-compliance and abuse with $9M+ in sales incentives that had been previously paid by the OEM.• Responsible for project management of contract compliance efforts at two automotive OEM’s over a 3-year period. Inspected the tooling spend and cost build up at the OEM’s suppliers to identify areas of over-payment by the OEM and areas of non-compliance with the contract terms by the suppliers. Managed a team of 10-15 professionals to perform 150+ third party reviews annually. Identified program non-compliance and abuse with $60M+ in tooling spend that had been previously paid out by the OEM.
