I am currently a student at The BAC in the Bachelor of Interior Design Program. I think interior design a fascinating field to learn about and eventually work in. When it comes to design, I am very driven or motivated, whether it be working on my designs or learning about the designs of others. This has been my life's goal since I was a little kid. I'm an intelligent individual and I think expanding one's knowledge is one of the most important things you can allow yourself to do. I like the saying that you don't stop learning until you die. I'm very open to new ideas and concepts. When people ask my opinion on particular subjects, not just in terms of interior design but in other aspects as well I try to be as honest as possible with them because it shows them what kind of person I am and it helps them out as well. I do not consider myself a pessimist or an optimist, but a realist. I have very real, attainable goals both short and long term. My motivation and intelligence helps me reach them. Anything is possible, as long as it has a realistic time frame and the right resources. I'm also a responsible person. I take pride in my work, and take responsibility for my mistakes. If something needs to be done, it gets done, because that is the responsible thing to do.When it comes to my designs, I enjoy stretching my creative legs. There are times when I try to push the envelope and come up with something exciting or over the top. Sometimes it works and it's practical, and sometimes it doesn't. I simply see that as the creative process in action. I like to have fun with my designs because it is what I love to do, but I also know there is a time to be serious and I can easily differentiate the two. I get along with other people very easily as long as they are willing to do the same for me. I am able to understand and take into account many different types of personalities and tastes. I like to use that to my advantage because it is another way of expanding my horizons.
