As an Assistant Director of Mobile Assets at AIM, I manage the acquisition, utilization and disposition of industry assets at 126+ sites across North America. This includes cranes, excavators, loaders, trucks & trailers, attachments etc. Strategic aquisition and liquidation of assets play an essential role in the success of metal recycling. As a Senior Manager at CN, I oversaw rail operations and maintenance of a 900+ mile territory covering 4 provinces. I have more than 15 years of experience in the rail industry, managing multi-million dollar budgets, leading teams of 200+ employees, and ensuring regulatory compliance with Transport Canada, Labor Canada, AAR, FRA, and Dangerous Commodities.I am passionate about the growth and development of people, and I strive to create a positive, energetic, and collaborative work environment. I am skilled in thermite, butt and TIG welding, oxygen/acetylene torching, track maintenance, rail car mechanics, wreck clean-up, crane operation, and heavy equipment handling.
