As an IT specialist, I have experience with corporations that are contracted to provide technical support for a wide range of companies. Be they small businesses with ten employees or Fortune 5 companies with tens of thousands of employees, my objective is to provide exceptional customer service and quality assistance to all users. I am, first and foremost, a people person. Whether I am assisting as remote or desk-side support, I first listen to understand the issue and then work to find full resolution, not leaving a project unfinished. This ensures that the work is done thoroughly and in a timely manner so production and service can continue seamlessly.While help desk issues can often be resolved by one person, working in a team atmosphere with fellow technicians has also been a highlight of my career. For example, my work at SITA saw the complete overhaul of the SEA-TAC airport arrival and departure network. As IT specialists, we completed the full cycle of the project from planning, design, and implementation to maintenance of the system. Through my service in the Army and my employment history, I have worked on several migrations of operating systems and phasing out and in new technology equipment and peripherals. I can evaluate technologies and their abilities to meet operating requirements for the needs of the specific companies and its users. Above all, I look for opportunities to help improve a company as well as the ever-changing responsibilities and advancements of my position as an IT specialist.
