Manage and oversee the operation of the Learning Commons computer lab, providing technical services when needed. Provide training to students and faculty on various programs including, but not limited to, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office 365. Other responsibilities:• Manage, troubleshoot and repair over 100 devices and machines, including desktop computers, laptops, and various models of iPads.• Respond to customer requests for assistance with computer software/hardware.• Respond to user account and password resets.• Regular patching of Operating Systems, integrated and 3rd party applications (e.g. MS Office, Internet Explorer, Adobe reader, etc.).• Provide troubleshooting for software, installation of software.• Troubleshoot networking issues – LAN and Wireless.• Troubleshoot remote access – VDI, VPN, Remote Desktop.• Provide training to students on Desire 2 Learn (learning management system) and Zoom video conferencing.• Liaise with IT department to keep programs and systems running optimally and updated with the most current software.• Manage part-time and full-time Learning Resource Technicians on home and satellite campuses. • Manage projects and develop training documents.
