Kyle is a Principal Economist, responsible for providing strategic development and economic advice on a range of projects across the public and private sectors in the UK and Ireland. He has 6 years’ experience working on a variety of socioeconomic impact assessments, multi-disciplinary projects, business cases and regeneration projects. Kyle has recent experience of the socioeconomic impact of Future High Streets Funds, City Region Deals and the current views of the Scottish and UK Governments towards their preparation. Kyle has extensive experience in leading and developing HM Treasury Green Book Business Cases, having developed strategic infrastructure funding bids totaling over £1.5 billion. These bids and related business cases have required a combination of expertise from strategy development, stakeholder engagement & management, economic modelling, project co-ordination, risk management and governance development

I presently work for PBA (now part of Stantec) on a variety of development projects across the UK. I have recent experience of the socioeconomic impact of City Region Deals and the current views of the Scottish and UK Governments towards their preparation, including Green Book compliance. In particular, my role in City Region Deals has been to create bespoke economic models for individual , high profile projects. Furthermore, my work includes a variety of socioeconomic assessments across a broad range of developments including energy, residential and commercial projects.

Stirling

At Stirling Council, I worked towards developing Stirling's economy through a number of innovative and exiting projects. My main focus was on making strategic connections to encourage inward investment in Stirling.In addition to working with partners such as the Scottish Cities Alliance and Leader, I was also charged with updating, maintaining and developing Stirling's economy watch.

Working within the Business and Economics team which sits in Strategic Customer Service Planning. My role was to support Scottish Water in matters of Business and Economics in a regulatory context. This involved the development of economic models which informed the organisations capital investment programme. I worked as part of Scottish Waters NxtGen team, helping to improve networking inside and outside the business.

Working to develop Stirling's economy and concentrating mainly on enhancing the rural economy. The role involved working specifically on diversifying the rural economy, enhancing the services that are available and working with local businesses and local action groups. During my time as an intern, I supported the creation of Stirling's economic strategy, a comprehensive plan that focused on helping Stirling compete as a city in the UK. This was achieved through a City Development Framework and consultation on a master plan that was subsequently delivered over the following years.

Providing high quality food and beverage assistance.

My responisbilities included serving customers high quality food, drinks and providing a top class service that ensured that each and every customer has a comfortable stay. I worked with efficiency behind the bar to ensure that customers received a quality service whilst the bar remained clean and presentable.

Worked as a night duty manager of a 96 bedroom hotel during the summer of 2014. Duties included, changing over the days business, security, guest services and cleaning.

I took inbound telephone calls servicing eligible customers with free school meals and clothing grants for their children. This involved working with computer systems that dealt with taxation, benefits and payments.I also dealt with various cleansing departments in organising case's from bereavement to grounds maintenance.
