As the manager of the Shipping and Logistics department I manage a team of 6 individuals responsible for the packaging and shipping of all direct to customer orders and orders shipped to Amazon Fulfillment Centers. I am responsible for the following:• Training and supervision of department personnel• Writing annual reviews and creating Standard Operating Procedures.• Forklift training and certification of warehouse employees.• Tracking Amazon sales, trends, and inventory quantities to determine what listings need restocked.• Creating and organizing work order assignments for technicians and communicating part shortages to the Purchasing Department.• Printing invoices for the inventory department to use for order picking.• Tracking, gathering, and organizing of all departmental data.• Setting up domestic and international shipments for small parcel items and creating LTL freight pickups.• Organization and counts of warehouse inventory.• Using Google Sheet formulas to reduce redundant data entry in order to speed up shipping processes.
