Worked with a cross functional team spanning non-sort network focusing on standardization and improvement of inbound and outbound functions.Worked to develop and roll out building wide stow strategy for all pallet inventory. Analyzed building wide freight mix, and complete break down of bulk and pallet racking freight to determine consolidation plan to further implement stow strategy. Lead consolidation project moving over 200,000 units of pallet freight in order to increase outbound pick productivity. Developed and rolled out network standard dock pallet receive process. Coupled new dock receive process with new dock sort process to handled mixed freight as well. Developed PMV's, process flow map, visuals, CAD layout and standard work for dock process.

Also helped lead roll out of transhipment out process, consolidation efforts and Beta test of directed pallet stow process prior to 2012 peak. Co-led Kaizen event consisting of 2 managers and 7 other members. Focused on Outbound SIOC process. Developed and rolled out process improvements over a 5 day period that led to a 50% increase in throughput and an annual cost savings of $221,000 a year. Project won both Kaizen of the month and Kaizen of the quarter.

Transitioned to lab setting, performing both taxonomy and toxicology experiments. Also worked as a field technician collecting data and samples on site.
