This position plays a pivotal role leading the overall design and user experience for a suite of academic instructional websites, the student catalog, and student handbook. This position works with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners across the university to design engaging, accessible, and responsive websites and digital assets. - Develop visually appealing and intuitive websites and digital assets that provide a seamless user experience and align to defined brand guidelines.- Collaborate with key organizational stakeholders and OASIS leadership to understand and meet website requirements and objectives. Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize and iterate on design solutions. Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets.- Design page layouts and templates; develop and maintain a design library and style guide. Enforce design standards.- Ensure websites and designs meet current Section 508 compliance and WCAG guidelines and are compatible with various devices and browsers.- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.- Participate in the OASIS Extended Leadership group.
