The Program Underwriter works alongside the Program Manager to understand, execute and uphold the trajectory of the program regarding underwriting, appetite refinement, and ongoing development of program guidelines. Serves as a mentor providing risk management, technical support, training, and problem solving for underwriters on an ongoing basis.

New business and renewal underwriter for our commercial package, umbrella, crime, and D&O programs. Obtain new business submissions from existing brokers, prequalify, underwrite, sell, approve, quote, and bind business. Responsible for opening new brokers and adding them to our broker pipeline. Maintain a renewal book while underwriting inspection recommendations, claims, binding condition requirements, rates and achieving service team’s retention goals.
