My name is Kyle, I’m a 21 year-old sailor with a passion for the sea. I grew up in the bush veld’s of South Africa where my love for the outdoors began. I have been accustomed to water-sports my entire life and have spent the past 3 years delivering, cruising as well as racing sailing boats. I spent a year as a Marine Engineer honing my engineering skills working on inboard and outboard engines as well as jet skis and hydraulic systems to not just be a competent sailor but also an all rounder. I’ve accumulated over 10 000nm of sailing experience, I hold a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Commercially Endorsed and feel confident in all my abilities to provide excellent service and support on any vessel.I recently completed a delivery of a new built 59ft catamaran from Cape Town, South Africa to Tortola, BVI and I’m currently in the USVI.Sailing is more than just a passion for me, it’s a way of life and I would be grateful to bring my skills and work ethic onboard as well as learn new skills and increase my knowledge. I have my B1/B2 and Schengen visa in hand and I’m ready to relocate to wherever requested within 7 days. I am an extremely motivated, hard-working, and reliable individual. I am flexible and adaptable and comfortable in new situations. I am more than willing to go above and beyond the minimum requirements to meet the needs of owners and guests. I am able to communicate well with all age groups, lead in an adaptable and efficient manor, and enjoy working as part of a team. I take pride in my appearance, punctuality, and attitude.
