Served as the principal clerk of the school. Provided administrative assistance to the Principal, staff, and faculty. Served as a Team Member of the Avionics Modification/Repair area for Rockwell Collins. While there I installed production modification kits from final drawing packages, primarily encompassing avionics and electrical system tasks. Removed, modified, installed, and checked various types of electronic components, including but not limited to: airborne avionic systems and related devices. Assembled, soldered (including micro-solder), connected, terminated and inter-wired electronic components (including surface mount and through hole) and electrical wire harnesses. Pinned and de-pinned connectors, replaced and/or installed connectors and routed harnesses. Read, interpreted and utilized United States Air Force technical orders, engineering modification plans, military regulated specifications, military and commercial maintenance manuals. Read and worked with technical drawings and test procedures. Documented work performed in aircraft maintenance forms/records and workbooks. Followed safety procedures, military specifications/standards and technical manuals to accomplish assigned tasks. Used a variety of general and specialized tools, equipment and hand tools. Supported all company policies and safety programs to include AS9100 (standardized quality management standard for aerospace industry), ISO 9001 (sets requirements of quality management system), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines. Acted as an integral member of aircraft installation and modification team by assisting mechanical/structural in completing additional tasks and assisting other technicians as required. Served as Team Leader of the Northrop Grumman AN/GSM-397 Electronic Systems Test Set (ESTS) maintenance area. While in that position I supervised 18 personnel across three shifts, assigned tasks, and provided training. Verified maintenance production priorities, estimated time of completion deadlines for accuracy and efficiency, test stations for operational capability, and parts on order. Accomplished Quality Assurance inspections and signed associated condition tags for all area production not personally produced. Over the course of my career, I have performed maintenance on over 65 different F-15 C/D/E model avionics Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) in a back shop environment, using all applicable technical orders/manufacturer manuals or other authorized tech data. Maintenance performed included: inspections, alignments, calibrations, automated reprogramming, using test software and precision measurement equipment to troubleshoot and determine scope of repair or adjustments required. I have operated and maintained avionics test stations both automated and manual, along with associated test equipment e.g.-interface test adapters and test cables in accordance with technical orders/manufacturer manuals or other authorized tech data. Test station maintenance consisted of inspections, test station verification, troubleshooting/repair, calibration, hardware and software upgrades, fabrication (non-procurable parts e.g. cables) and corrosion control. Documented historical data by inputting maintenance actions performed into database, maintained equipment forms, reported any quality deficiencies for parts issued to facilitate repair, executed time compliance technical orders on assigned test stations and LRUs.
