I am a 19 year veteren of the fire service. I started as a Firefighter and EMT - B. I then went to paramedic school and became a state and nationally certified paramedic. I have been dual certified and working as a Firefighter/Paramedic since 2006. I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in Aug of 2022. As a Lieutenant I oversee the daily operations of 2 paramedic units as well as others on my engine company. I oversee on scene operations to ensure protocols, safety and proper treatments are done. Not only for my personel but also the patients and bystanders.
