ProTrans International is a third party logistics company (3PL) based out of Plainfield, IN with facilities and docks all over the US, Mexico, and Canada. With over 20 locations in these regions, ProTrans is able to move, store, and process freight in a timely and low cost manner.-Publish a Rules Tariff, with 39 rules, for customers to reference for specific charges and circumstances-Map process flows in Microsoft Visio to analyze wasted money, time, and resources. The result was 19 different process flows, 35% waste of employee resources, $144.24 of waste per load, and 21 projects for the company-Analyze customer accounts in excel and ProTrans’ database. The objective was to change the service type, bill to, and charge of a shipment before it is invoiced by accounting incorrectly
