Taught internal and external training classes in the use of IP for calculating clay volume, porosity, and water saturation, using deterministic models such as Simandoux, Mod Simandoux, Indonesian, Waxman-Smits, Archie, and the Dual Water model. Probabilistic saturation models were also taught. Logging tools in the training sessions included triple combo, phasor induction, array inductions, sonic, density, neutron, and platform express tools. Reservoir types included both sand and limestone. Provided mentoring to internal IP users in calculating clay volume, porosity and water saturation, permeability, pore pressure prediction, Monte Carlo error analysis, statistical curve prediction, and also pre-interpretation processes. Wrote IP training manual and taught numerous classes on use of software to calculate clay volume, porosity, and water saturation and permeability, using various porosity and saturation models.
