Worked in Construction Services Division as part of the Geotechnical Engineering Group. Conducted Inspections for geotechnical drilling investigations which included directing drilling crews once on-site, classifying soils, sending out bids and coordinating with clients. I Worked on geotechnical reports and recommendations for several of the senior engineers and inputted all the relevant data that was collected in the field into their database. I was also tasked with conducting construction inspection for the installation of a new section of the gas collection system and poly-liner at the Albany Landfill. This project lasted approximately 5 months and included directing contractors on-site, cataloging daily activities, keeping track of man hours, materials, etc.. I acted as a conduit for the project engineer to the contractor on the job which often would offer me the opportunity to present my own input on design issues.

Worked in their land planning division to assist engineers with various land development projects. I used AutoCAD Land Development Desktop heavily while there to edit and finalize plans and details to be submitted to various agencies for approval. I also had the opportunity to conduct some utility design work including sewer, waste water, electrical and gas. I was also tasked with preforming various field inspections to gather relevant data to complete septic designs, these included perk tests and test pit investigations.
