Currently involved with bridge inspections, ancillary structure and minor bridge inspections, underwater bridge inspections, rope access bridge inspections, retaining wall inspections and bridge load ratings. Bridge inspections consist of above water inspections of concrete, steel, and timber bridges. Ancillary structures consist of signal pole structures, sign structures, and HML structures. Minor bridges include pipe culverts, box culverts, and concrete, steel and timber minor bridge structures. Load ratings consisted of timber, concrete, and steel structures including unique steel bridges constructed of old rail road cars. Underwater bridge inspections include SCUBA dives up to 40 feet to inspection piers/foundations below water. Rope access inspections included steel fracture critical structures up to 500 feet high using SPRAT techniques for rope access inspection. Wall inspections included retaining wall and sound wall inspections.

Topeka, Kansas Area

Designed reinforced concrete bridges, prestressed concrete bridges, steel plate girder bridges and concrete box culverts. Analyzed hydraulic flows with FEMA flood zone considerations to size structures over waterways; coordinated with road designers and rail road personnel to design bridges over vehicle roads and railroads. Attended field check review meetings to coordinate with local officials before final design of the bridge was completed. Paired calculations with highly sophisticated bridge design software to complete design of each bridge. Load ratings were included in bridge softwares and special consideration was made to stay within load rating restrictions.
