As a pre-med student majoring in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Florida, I am passionate about the intersection of science and medicine. With my experience as a research assistant in the Locomotor Neuroscience Lab, I have developed a strong foundation in research methodology, data analysis, and neuroscience.I was also a dedicated volunteer at North Florida Regional Hospital Emergency Department, where I have gained invaluable experience in patient care, teamwork, and communication in high-pressure environments. My previous roles as an Emergency Medical Responder and instructing Biochemistry at the University of Florida have also helped me develop immense medical knowledge and strong communication skills, which I believe would be valuable in any healthcare-related role.As a highly motivated and hardworking individual, I am eager to gain more hands-on experience in the healthcare industry before pursuing medical school.
