Meet Kyle ► Running Coach specialising in helping marathon runners to run new personal bests by improving how they run and strength they have, without just adding more miles.Expertise ► I started running at 11 years old and with no coach or guidance, made all the mistakes you can think of. From this I've learned how to help others avoid these same pitfalls. In 2012 I qualified as a personal trainer and since then have completed 15 CPD courses including the Coach in Running Fitness course from UK Athletics, and an Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor diploma.Running Coaching Packages ► One-to-one or online coaching packages, Runner's MOTs and single coaching sessions for nutrition, exercise technique and hill running technique.Runner's MOTs ► This is often a starting point for runners where we look at their technique, flexibility, strength and running relevant skills. The outcome is a plan and access to narrated exercise videos to work on progressing these areas.How I'm different ► The first step is never to increase mileage or radically change the type of training someone is doing. I advise making small technical improvements first, with strengthening and stretching, then in time we get to running more frequently if appropriate for the client's goals.
