Prior to joining Footpath Ventures in 2020, Mr. Brown served as the Senior Controller at Thayer Street Partners, a New York based private equity firm focused on growth equity and structured finance. Prior to joining Thayer Street in 2019, Mr. Brown served as the Chief Financial Officer at Emerging Sovereign Group ("ESG"), an emerging markets focused investment management firm. Prior to joining ESG in 2013, Mr. Brown served as a Manager in the Asset & Wealth Management Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") providing assurance services to Alternative Investment Funds and Investment Advisors. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2006 with a BS in Business Administration, with concentrations in Public Accounting and Financial Management and a minor in Economics. Mr. Brown is a Certified Public Accountant since 2008.
