My 7 years of school relating to engineering has taught me that nothing is impossible. Working on projects and solving problems I never thought i could has led me to my passion for engineering and achieving my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am working towards my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of North Texas. I graduated out of the STEM program at Cedar Ridge high school. My 7 years of school relating to engineering has taught me how to lead groups of people, solve complex and dynamic engineering problems, and organize priorities relating to a project. I have led projects where we were tasked with designing, testing and fabricating a robotic arm for the purpose of washing a window. My previous work experience for the Home Depot MET team taught me organizational skills and how to consult with customers and team members in a professional manner. The experience with materials such as washers, wood, and sheet metal has taught me the best materials to use for a project. The way we were put on a schedule taught me how to manage my time and meet deadlines. My experience as a Pizza Hut cook taught me how to work in a stressful and dynamic work environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.I am looking for a competitive and dynamic workplace where I can grow and improve as an engineer. I take pride in all the jobs and projects I commit to and excel when dealing with difficult issues.
